IIRC, Tosh laptops of that era were remarkably good at taking stupidly 
large hard`drives. I've got a portege 3110 running 80 Gig.
The only gotcha is the size of the partition holding the OS, which is 
restricted in practice with 64Meg by the amount of RAM to no more than 
about 10 Gig. This is a Windows problem.
95 won't work with partitions over 32 Gig, for anything larger, you need 
98SE.
