I agree that staying with a friend would be ideal. I had thought about the capsule hotel but that creeps me out. I don't consider myself claustrophobic but the thought of staying in the capsule reminds me of an astronaut in a slowed metabolic chamber I hadn't considered blending in with the homeless.
