I am speaking as an American. that was just a short summary... i have had enough and havnt been happy here most of my adult life, all work-no time off to speak of...you name it. The UK, having lived both places, surely looks much better on our end and my UK husband (who came here with the usual foreigner delusions life would be better here in the states) also agrees. We are moving "happily" back over to the UK.*
