Windows Update kept installing "fixes" that screwed up all of the
different USB hub, controller, and device drivers so that every time I
printed from my USB printer or made a Skype call from my USB phone, I
got a BSOD within five minutes. Normally, my PC would crash four times
a day at very predictable times.
Xandros 4 came out on the 26th. I installed it over my old v.2.5 that
is on the other half of this HDD and I haven't had a crash yet. But, I
_am_ posting from the Windows side right now because it _is_ a bigger
pain to set the multilingual properties in Xandros and I have a learning
curve that others may not.
