If the OP would like, we can also link this to the TokyoPC User's Group
site. It would help to know how long he'd expect to stay in Japan and
what areas he'd (he/she/they) be visiting ... and which WIN flavo(u)r
was running on the laptop. Also different answers can be given
depending upon whether the laptop has built-in WiFi, built-in LAN, USB
and PCMIA Type II or Type III slots on board. So many options, so
little time ...
