And yet this supposedly un-assimilated group is one of the most widely and 
homogeneously spread ethic groups in all of the US, with a history of 
patriotism and community service.
Audi Murphy, John Wayne, JFK, all famous Irish-Americans.
PS, the fact that they are *known* as Irish-AMERICANS and not Irish should 
give you a clue to which nation they want and choose to belong to.

No Irish person or Irish-American would ever so demean themselves to mate
