Japanese words from Korean
[This message has been cross-posted to sci.lang.japan, soc.culture.korean,
and japan.asia.korea, with followups set to come to sci.lang.japan. Thank
you for your cooperation.]
I had a look through edict for Japanese words of Korean origin, but there
don't seem to be very many recorded there.
I've heard and found from a random net search that the following Japanese
words might have a Korean origin:
charinko
kutsu
noppo
raamen
sashimi
wasabi
waribashi
zabuton
Any comments or other ideas for Japanese words of possible Korean origin?
Thanks.
Danny.
