So are still slugging it out in Japan. Must be tough for you; unlucky with
the language, women and any semblance of an understanding of the culture.
But then someone with a personality like yours would likely have trouble
even back home.

Well, who can argue with that? I'm convinced!

Yes! There it is! Those critical reasoning skills, hard at work. Did you
understand what I meant when I said that Miyu was the 14th most popular
girl's name last year, regardless of the kanji? That is her name. Miyu. So
let's review shall we? Her name will be the 14th most popular name given to
Japanese girls in the year 2004. So do you suppose all those little Miyu's
will grow up hating their name? This is quite different from using unique
characters (though not unusual by any stretch) to write the phonetic name
Miyu. There are certainly people out there who hate their name because it is
unusual. But that is a very different concept altogether from having a
fairly common name that happens to be written with somewhat unique kanji. Do
you get the difference, or do I need to explain it in more detail.

No. What I didn't know is who stupid you were regarding the concept of
Japanese names. Well, actually, yes I did. But it's so fun yanking your
chain because you do such a good job of making yourself look like a complete
idiot, with very little help from me.
