You're welcome.

BTW, one other thought that occurred ... for another place to take
foreigners for food ... and most of the people I squire around Tokyo are
in town on business ... but one area that is always a big hit are the
yakitoriya under or alongside the Yamanote / Shinkansen tracks between
Yurakucho and Shinbashi (across Harumi-dori from JR Yurakucho-eki after
the Kokusai Denki Biru which has the big JAL reservation office on the
first two floors). Just go out either main exit of JR Yurakucho-eki and
follow the tracks toward Shinbashi (or the Imperial Hotel if you need a
second landmark).

Americans, in particular love the story about how that was the first
postwar domestic cathouse / black market area and most of the old shops
are from either the immediate postwar period, where they served apres
conjugal wrestle food or from the early Seventies. If you walk through
the underpass there is a small one-block square area with more
yakitoriya and other traditional food on the first floors of all of the
buildings.

None of those places are English-optional but are extremely friendly to
white folk if you can Wa along with the usual clientele ... some of whom
look like extras from Kurosawa films.
