There is not something weird ? English is not my language but I think that
should be  "a loving and devoted husband" or "a loving man, devoted
husbands, loving children...." . The way it's written gives the impression
the man and the husband are different items of the list.
Anyway as John said "loving man" is not very sexy, that sounds like loving
dog. Now I have the image of a guy bringging the slippers to a clone of
Condi Rice when she comes back from work. She has forgotten the dog in the
list, but that's just what that person should buy if she wants to be
followed like that by loving belongings.
