I've had the s7000 zoom for just over a year and it's a very good camera. I
leave it set to the raw mode just about all the time and it produces very
good, very sharp images. Of course you need to have a large compact flash
card if you are going to do that, but with the price of memory cards having
dropped through the floor that's no real problem. I've found it an easy
camera to get used to. It's ot the lightest of digital cameras and it can,
when you use the lcd a lot, run through batteries very quickly. But it is,
in my opinion, worth buying
