心優しい司祭

一人の司祭がある日通りを歩いいる時、一人の
小さな少年が一軒の家の呼び鈴を鳴らそうとしているのに気づきました。その少年は
とても背が低かったので，呼び鈴は彼が鳴らすには高すぎました。

しばらくの間、その少年の努力を見た後で、その司祭は、その少年に近づいて行きま
した。
司祭は，通りを横切り、その男の子の背後に歩いて
行き，彼の手を優しくその子供の肩に置き、身をかがめ、呼び鈴を強く鳴らしまし
た。
子供の目線まで身をかがめ、優しく微笑みそして
尋ねました。『坊や、次はどうするのかい？』
少年は答えました。『さあ、走って逃げましょう』
