No. In Tsutaya, when you rent "same day", you need to bring it back before
they open the shop the next day (usually 10 a.m., when they are closed, you
put it in the box on the door), no matter at what time you've borrowed it.
So "ippaku" = "same day" + one night, you bring it back before they open the
second day. Etc. Asatte no kuji seems normal.
I don't think they say "ippaku" here, well maybe they say it, but on the
written board it is obvious they count the days and not the nights.
The time/day to bring it back is not written on the receipt ?
