It's a pretty difficult process, though. The hardest part is finding their
little willies to get the piss from. And then of course there is the
practice of shoving little hoses down their throats to pump in water, which
has pushed some of the international animal protection groups to call for a
ban.

Now, however, the market is being flooded by cheap imported Chinese snake
piss, and a lot of the traditional Japanese snake-piss producers are in
danger of going under. As an emergency measure, the Japanese government has
implemented an "inspection fee" on imported snake piss valued at 500% the
customs value, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries is
conducting a "Heartful IT Campaign for Japanese Snake Piss" aimed at raising
awareness of Japanese snake piss and gaining the understanding of the
Japanese people, etc.
