Well actually I've only heard good things about Sandisk.
But no matter.  I seriously doubt there is any /real/
quantifible difference in the quality of various cards.
Reguardless what they "say" on the newsgroups.  ;)

If there is anything it would be a batch thing.  And the
second or third sort it would require to ensure any kind
of "quality" assured consistency would drive the prices
of that particular card *way* *way* up.

Anyway if you feel good about Panasonic that's the important
thing.  I recommend trying www.panasonic.co.uk  or .com
and then looking for a list of "suggested" retail outlets.

BTW, I'm pretty sure Panasonic is not a memory card OEM
but rather a VAR using parts from other manufacturers.
I /could/ totally be wrong about that though.  It's just
my *guess* from working inside Machusta (Panasonic) here
in Japan.
