But I thought /most/ of the fuzzyness was due to the JPeg error
which was horrific in every shot.

But I donno the 3800..  If all it does is Jpeg then I guess what
you saw is what you'll get.


My personal opinion it that any camera that doesn't have an
uncompressed option isn't worth even looking at.  Let alone
spending ANY money on.  If you want "fuzzy" Jpegs like that
buy a new cellphone.  At least you can justify the cost when
and /IF/ you use it to make calls.

[Some new cellphones do much higher res than the onlder 640x480
ones did.  Mine does 1024x768 and is 3 years old now.  It looks
about like what I saw in the finepix examples...  but a little
smaller.]
