Yes. You want to white balance according to the light hitting the subject,
same as if you were outdoors or using any other kind of light subject. The
temperature of the stobes will vary depending on brand and age of the tube,
so custom white balance is the only way to get accuracy.

You have the subject hold the card and white balance according to the
instructions for your camera.

If you custom white balance the amount of post processing for color balance
is almost zero.
