well, i would agree that olive garden isn't really the most authentic 
italian restaurant around.  but i've been to a few that are seem pretty 
authentic.

and there are plenty of mexican restaurants that are not very authentic 
either...like all of the "Tex-Mex" places...but they taste pretty good 
anyway.

it's only natural for a country to localize ethnic food to some degree.  
americans eating chop suey doesn't make anyone racist...just like the 
kimchi pizzas in korea doesn't make them anti-italian.
