This afternoon I visited a big supermarket and two fairly big Home Centers, and a big drug store. All had cleaning agents for washing machines (plastic or steel drum) to get rid of *kabi*. And all of them had small tablets to neutralize the lime scales in hot water pots. Nothing for the washing machine! I can't believe it. One guy even recommended me buying 10 packs of these small tablets (430 yen each). Can anyone explain why this calcination occurs in cold water? Sigi
