Very good article indeed. I suspect Akiko Yamamoto did more than
"contribute to this report". And why did they interview the "Voice of
America" reporter in Seoul??? Where was the Tokyo based reporter?

Fair enuff. And yes NHK did save a large number of lives that day.
However I shall continue to bitch (its part of my "business as usual"
stance you see). NHK's budget should come out of general tax revenue,
in much the same way as Australia's ABC.
Plus I didn't watch any tv that day, or listen to radio. I've watched
about 5 minutes of tv (in the office of the radio station next door to
my office) this year. I guess I might have died if I lived in a
tsunami affected town.
