In the American Continents, Judo, witch is Ju-Jitsu was introduced by the
Kodokan
Judo Master Mitsuyo Maeda, whom was sent by Jigoro Kano founder of Judo. In
order to
teach Judo in the United States and he was also posted in Brazil.
History tells us that Kodokan Judo is the father of (south, central, north)
american Ju-jitsu or for the so called Jiu-Jitsu for the ignorant people.
But that's another story.

Everyone knows that it is not the art form that wins in a confrontation, but
the individual person with a lion's earth.

Judo was founded from self defence art forms in life threathning situations
and in real battles.
Not so call sports. So. What you see today, is combats with rules.
You will never see true champions in this case.

At the beginning, Judo was extremelly rubust and with technics that difies
all the so called Ju-Jitsu or Brazilian Ju-jitsu of today.
Today these arts are only watered down Ju-Jitsu to acomodate sellebility and
profitering on the sportmans market. In the old days, they fight to the
death.

This is were the superiority lais.

I have bean in various forms of martial arts since the fifties.
