はい。fj.1st-readme に完全に対応するものは、alt.* にはないの
でしょうが、それちに近いものは、news.announce.newusers です。

alt.* なのに何で news.* かというと、alt はもともと
alternative という意味で、もう１つのもの、つまり、伝統的な 
Usenet では認められないけれど、新しい alt.* なら OK というも
のを狙ったニュースグループ群です。それで、異世界の 
1st-readme は、普通の世界の 伝統的な Usenet Big8 の 
1st-readme でいいんじゃないか、それなら
news.announce.newusers だろうということです。(異論を歓迎します。)

さっきみたら、welcome の記事が news.announce.newusers に 
welcome の記事が出ていたので末尾に付けます。(2001 年更新とい
うのは、ちょっと古いなあ。)
