Deskstation V Plus
PA2710U

One dedicated PCI slot
Two PCI/ISA shared slots
One internal 5.25" bay for IDE or SCSI drive (removable front panel for
optical or other removable media drives)
One internal bay for Tecra 700 series floppy drive (The 8000 series
floppy WILL NOT FIT!)
External ports:
Audio I/O
Game port
Two PS/2 ports for mouse and keyboard
One serial
One VGA
One SCSI II
Two CardBus slots, side by side, supports up to two Type III cards.

Run by an older 1995 version of the Toshiba CardBus controller,
may have conflicts with certain cards that work with the laptop's
1997 CardBus controller. The dual port USB 1.1 CardBus by Belkin
DOES NOT work in this docking station, but is fine in the laptop.
Other than that one card, I've had no problems with a Cardinal
33.6 PC Card modem or a 3Com 56k and 10/100 combo card.

Toshiba did not make a docking station or port replicator
specifically for the 8000 series, instead they designed the
8000 series to be mostly compatable with the ones for the
later 700 series. Would've been nice to be able to use the
8000 floppy in a Deskstation made just for the 8000. :P
