Anyone use the SegaKara service?
It's basically an attachment on the bottom of a Sega Dreamcast (that you
can get for dirt cheap anywhere), where you can hook in a couple of Karaoke
Box style mics, then hook it into your phone line and have access to the
entire SegaKara service like having their entire Karaoke Box catalog
available to you without having to leave the house...and they have a
boatload of English songs too. You can get a month's worth of service for
2000 yen or one day for 800. Great party piece, especially as an
icebreaker when Japanese and Gaigin are mingling. You can probably pick
both the DC and SegaKara on a Japanese auction page for about 2,000 yen.
