I note from this link that the memory slot is under the keyboard. It appears that a 128 meg SODIMM would be around $50 in the US although I see, like me, you are in Canada.

I did repair a Dell Latitude of about the same vintage and upgraded the HD to 20g for my son-in-law. He uses it with a GPS mouse on his boat and loves it. It is a PII 233 with 64M memory running Win98.

For some reason I KNEW you'd reply Terry. I reviewed some other posts and YOUR wealth of shared info keeps coming up. Thank YOU again.

I'm firstly looking for the manual. I don't plan on using the Toshiba for going online. Rather, a storage device for all my family tree info, pics, data so I am looking for HD info, upgradability, user info...well, the works actually. Like I just took it out of a box new, basically. And, of course, if it proves to be insufficient in it's current state, what can I upgrade with, RAM, HD...usual stuff. Thanks for the hyperlink...perfect place to start.
