Is it normal to have to remove the battery to turn off the computer? I
recently purchased a Satellite A135-S4427 running vista premium and have
used it in a very limited capacity no more than 15-20 minutes, recently I
used the computer for about 3 hours and when I tried to turn it off after
shutdown the blue power light would not go out nor could I restart the
computer. tech support told me to remove the battery disconnect the system
from ac power, reinstall the battery, and reconnect the ac power cord this
fixed the problem and I was informed that this did not happen often but was
not unusual. is this the case? is this normal behavior for a new system I
would like to know. also how can I burn disc so the can be viewed on another
system. I downloaded files both images, video, and music and burned them to a
CD. the satellite drive supposedly recognizes 11 different formats and after
burning I get a message stating that the disc will be formatted so it can be
read on other computers but when I put the disc in a Cdr-Rw drive on a
system running windows 98 the data is there but cannot be viewed. what am I
doing wrong? any help would be appreciated. thanks
