So what was it like in these camps?  Was there any "slaughter" as Kaz

I know people who were brought up in camps, and have talked with them 
about what it was like.  I heard nothing about slaughter.

The internment of Japanese Canadians was a shameful chapter in Canada's 
history.  But Canada is not alone.  Other countries have participated in 
similar shameful occurances, including Kaz's beloved Japan.

Racism exists in all countries. Kaz is just blind to racism in Japan and 
in himself.
