My A70 does the same thing, it's the first Toshiba (well that's what the 
logo says) I've had with intakes on the bottom.  I guess the big rubber feet 
on the bottom should've been a clue.  I realized I was blocking the air 
intakes by using my 'Laptop' on my lap!
