My experience with these "Authorized Repair" stations is that they are not 
always honest with their evaluations.  If you get your camera back, check 
the S/N to make sure it is yours.  And if it is damaged AND you had 
insurance on it, take it to the post office if that is who you shipped 
through.  These companies do not like postal inspectors checking out there 
facility.
