Any impressions on what was going on here? Was it a ploy to get rid of Naoko
when she was no longer needed and if so, did Gendo set it up?" Was killing
Rei 1 an unintended consequence? Was Rei "chanelling" Yui?

The entire scene always bothered me, it seemed so out of character for Rei.
