I am no expert or even a novice on any of it, but reiking (if I have spelled
it correctly) is passing of the hands across not touching but like really
close to the body taking away or releasing stress. I think it is borrowed
from migawarajiso ?????? (that's real close) Anyway...when I would visit the
Kokowa temple my father in law would take a stick with a stringy cloth like
end and touch the wooden statue in a spot say for instance the shoulder to
seek remedy of his shoulder pain or whatever else was hurting I believe he
was seeking the help from the statue. (hope that makes sense) I was unable
to ask anybody what was going on because of the language barrier but it was
really cool.

Shockras are actually chakras (sorry about the typo)

I have never heard of Zenzen compreendamasen
Although my mother was into some things I couldn't understand. (like chakras
and mind over matter, externalization)
