Recently there has been an absence of non-trollish postings here, so here is
an announcement for those in the Chubu region.

The second meeting of the Nagoya Mac User Group Meeting on Saturday, March
19 at 11:00 AM, right before regular meeting of the Nagoya International PC
Club at noon at Kinjo University WEST.

Learn about the latest changes Microsoft Office for the Mac, including the
Project Center, compatibility reports, Notebook layout view and audio
recording in Word, and function screen tips in Excel. Learn also the
relative advantages of Apple's Mail versus the new Microsoft Entourage, and
the relative advantages of Apple's iCal versus the new Microsoft Calendar.

After the Mac Meeting, there will be a companion program at noon by Nagoya
International Personal Computer Club: "Increasing Productivity with
Automation in Microsoft Office"

Microsoft Office is becoming the prime office suite for businesses, but most
users use only 10% or less of the features. This program focuses on Office's
two most famous programs: Word and Excel. Learn how to automate one's work
in Word with such features as templates, styles, autotext, autocorrect,
autoformat, and macros. It will also discuss how to modify these features to
suit your own way of doing things. Also learn how to better use formulas and
conditional formatting in Excel.

Both the Mac User program and companion program will be given on a Mac, but
the second program will not be Mac-specific.
