You did not specifically state that Canada was a colony, but the structure
of your sentences gave that impression (that you decided on Canada, among
the countries that you have an absolute right live and work in).

Don't expect apologies merely because your own ambiguities. Also, it is a
tad ridiculous to call someone an illiterate f**kwit because you failed to
make yourself clear.
