You can just use the I Tunes account from the U.S.
Music formats are the same everywhere so if you can read japanese most of it 
will work.

Unlike the previous poster who had interchanged games I had issues with the 
cartridges being different on Japanese v/s U.S.   e.g. some games would work 
if you swapped cartridges.
I think Wii is coded for each region and you can never get a japanese game 
for yours or the reverse.

On a cheerie note my laptop works almost everywhere.
