a) kick and course keyboard. If that does work,
b) try hitting the 半角/全角・漢字 button a few times. That probably won't
work, but it might make you feel better temporarily.
c) depending on what kind of chat machine you are using, at the bottom
of your screen, you should be able to see the word "KANA" (under
"CAPS"). Click on KANA, and your input method should revert to the
original setting.
