I saw someone in a Japan-related forumn complain that you can't tip in
Japan, because the service is so good.

This is offensive. Why do you Americans want to make the rest of the 
world as bad as your country?

I'm still trying to figure out how the comments of one person in a
different forum gave rise to an Anti-American bile venting in this
one. I'm used to Anti-American bile venting, which in and of itself
doesn't particularly bother me. I'm just trying to connect the dots
and see how you got from "A" over there to "B" over here.
