That was discussed quite heavily on alt.smokers.cigars and it seems
not to be affecting online cigar merchants. For the present, at least.

I have heard tales of some states going after their residents for the
taxes they avoided by buying their smokes online from other states.
Some folks are getting hit up with tax bills for several thousand
dollars.
