Amen. I've been married twice (no children from my first marriage
thankfully, which was to an English woman). My second marriage to my
current wife (Japanese) has not been easy at times, but five hundred
times better than my first.

I'm a cantankerous git, work stupid hours, often bugger back to the UK
for work reasons and she works her guts out for me and the kids. We have
our share of arguments and some times have been better than others
(ah the joys of parenthood) but in the six years since we got married I
have *never* regretted the decision.

Any marriage has its own share of unique issues to be resolved. Marriage
between cultures adds its own problems - but plenty of positives as
well.
