Bluetooth RSSI without connecting to device
Hi,
I am trying to get the RSSI value of the Bluetooth device in my
laptop's vicinity. I am aware if the tool named "hcitool" that can get
the values for me. However, this requires connecting to other device
first.
Is there any other way to get RSSI values by just sniffing and not
actually connecting to a device? I am using Suse 11.0 and BlueZ
utilities. Thanks.
