And a new social movement is born. We need a catchy name, though...
something that would capture enough media attention to get reported as
a trend and so become self-fulfilling. Also we need a wild-haired
academic to do the talk shows. Candidates? Otherwise there's no hope
of convincing the other people at work that it would actually be a
good thing to leave on time. There's just something about society here
that makes acting in one's own self-interest seem, well, selfish.
Unless you're in management, of course. The only answer is to create
the illusion that everyone is doing it.
