I once went to a doctor in Japan that didn't have good command of
English and I didn't like the experience at all. I think the guy was
German. I went to precisely four Japanese doctors, all for relative
emergencies and I came away with a negative impression three of those
times, but that had more to do with how they acted as doctors and
nothing to do with their English (since I happen to speak Japanese, as
do many of us furriners).
