On reunion of separated families and relatives, I was told by a
person who've been to North Korea that reunions were taken under
strict supervision of North Korean government minders, so that
first thing family members (in North Korea) said was that they
are fed well and live well thanks to Kim IlSung/Kim JongIl.
This after some 50 years of separation.

Just because so called DPRK has track record of kidnapping poor
fishermen going back 1960s, so called DPRK can not believe the
"defectors from the north" are in fact the defectors from so
called DPRK?
