This seller is either naive or dishonest.

For starters, you don't double the power output of an amplifier simply by
connecting an extra pair of speakers.

Secondly, if the seller paid AU $820 for this 5 years ago he got ripped off.

According to the Rotel website, this is a 40 wpc stereo amplifier made by
Rotel from 1973-78.  The pictures on e-bay reinforce that.  Just look at the
slider pots on the front panel, the DIN sockets and spring terminal speaker
connections.
