When you consider that the meiji government was patterned after germany(who itself was taken over by militarists) I dont think the result should be overwhelmingly surprising. Maybe if japs werent a bunh of apes who didnt know any better than to ineptly mimic europeans thw world would be a happier place but unfortunately japans brutality was not motivated by greed, lust, power, money or vengence, but inept and awkward misfortune of blindly mimicking europeans. This should be contemplated for all you brutal pro-meiji white supremacists.
