Right, but I wonder at what exchange rate they send the money. The rate
they quote on their website isn't that great, but it's just not clear if
that's the rate they'd use for transferring money.

Yes, I only transfer fairly infrequently. The last time I used Lloyds,
but they said that since that was two years ago I'd have to start over
and reapply to open an account with them. Having to do all the paperwork
of reopening an account each time is an irritating restriction.
