Sat M305 with WIFI 5100 broken out of the box

Bought a new M305 series laptop with the WiFi 5100 wireless card and it 
won't connect to anything. I tried 4 different vendors WAP units, 
different encryption types, none, and it won't stay connected no matter 
what. All of our other laptops, including the Toshiba units that don't 
have the 5100 wireless card, work just fine.

Anyone else seeing issues with the Intel WiFi 5100 wireless not being 
able to maintain a connection?
