This computer has a dead battery. The power on switch does not seem to work when
the the power cord is plugged into the wall plug. Power on light flashess if I
press the switch and hold. But neither the CDrom drive nor the HDD light  flash.

I tried the toshiba site to learn about dismantling the pc to get at the power
switch without success. I would appreciate any help with this.
