Nagoya Railroad (or "Meitetsu") will revise its timetables on March
29th. This company operates trains from Nagoya and surrounding cities
to Central Japan International Airport ("Centrair"
http://www.centrair.jp/en/index.html).

Some features:

* Airport access trains that currently start or terminate at
Kanayama will come to Nagoya. 10 runs each direction.

Some Kanayama - Centrair runs will remain.

Kanayama is about two miles southeast of Nagoya. Like Nippori in Tokyo,
it is a smaller station and a friendlier transfer point for JR local and
rapid trains.

* Four additional airport access trains to and from satellite cities
west of Nagoya: Gifu, Ichinomiya, Unuma and Inuyama

* Cars will be added to airport access trains. More seats and more
luggage space. A new platform will start operation in the Centrair
Station. On some trains, travel time between Nagoya and the Centrair
Station will decrease by a few minutes (limited express and express).

- Still no direct service from Centrair to Toyota City.

The new timetable is available here:

This railway has some bottlenecks in its infrastructure. Delays are
rather frequent compared to trains elsewhere in Japan.
