People here have been telling you that ever since you began posting to this
newsgroup. Nice to see that finally you are beginning to see things from
their point of view.

Try to hold on to a decent change of clothes - keep them in a locker
somewhere, or something. Otherwise, even if an opportunity does arise, you
will not be able to present yourself suitably to take advantage of it.

Many supermarkets offer their customers a little taste of their products. If
you go to several supermarkets and walk through accepting all the little
tasters you may be able to stave off the hunger for a while. To do it
successfully, though, you'd have to look urbane and well-groomed. You'll
attract attention if you look like a half-starved tramp.

Perhaps - since you appear to share their plight - it would be worth hanging
out with homeless people and finding out what they do to keep body and soul
together. I notice there's a bunch of people who arrive in a square near the
Metropolitan Plaza exit of Ikebukuro station with cardboard boxes full of
packed meals, which homeless people queue up for and receive, apparently
with no strings attached...

Can you busk? I guess not, or you'd already be doing it. Or beg? Risky,
though; if you attract attention in that way you'll probably end up being
deported. How about having someone wire you money?
