Wannadive.net - A new world dive site atlas
Hey guys!
This is a quick invitation to discover the new world dive site atlas:
Wannadive.net! http://www.wannadive.net
Following the success of Wannasurf.com [1], the (internet's biggest
world surfing guide), Wanndive.net [2] has been recently opened to the
Internet dive community. Wannadive.net is a collaborative website made
by divers for divers. Anyone can contribute to Wannadive.net by:
- adding their favourite dive sites,
- posting pictures and/or
- adding dive site maps,
- adding comments,
- setting GPS locations...
As Wannadive.net is a collaborative website, any diver can download
GPS waypoint files and load them into their own GPS. Wannadive can be
used as a reference GPS database for dive sites!
If you like satellite maps, also try the new free application from
the NASA, World Wind [3] or Google Maps [4]. You can direcly plot a
Wannadive.net dive site into these applications!
Get Involved and help build this resource; by divers for divers.
Don't hesitate to contribute Wannadive.net by adding your favourite
dive sites!
The Wannadive.net team.
